Bolts are a useful device, especially because they have the ability to hold multiple components together. The dimensions given in the specification for the ASTM SF2281 Hex Bolts include a diameter of 1/4 inches or larger.  In addition to the size and the max temperature limit, specified here, the specification calls for the manufacture of ASTM F2281 Hex Cap Screws in either different grades of stainless steel or nickel alloy Bolts, with the chemical and the mechanical requirements specified herein. The materials used in the manufacture of astm f2281 flange Bolts must also comply with the environmental requirements of the application.
