The F593 Stainless Steel Threaded Rod belonging to this specification have a nominal diameter size that ranges between 0.25 inch to 1.50 inches. Essentially, the ASTM F593 Stainless Steel Bolts are used in applications where resistance to general corrosion is of prime importance.
Under this specification, there are Seven groups of stainless steel alloys included. In the austenitic class, there are fourteen grades of astm f593 anchor bolts included. Whereas there are four martensitic, two ferritic, as well as one precipitation-hardened alloys that could be used in the manufacture of ASTM F593 Threaded Rod. Austenitic stainless steel alloys such as 303, 304, 304L, 305, 384, 303Se, 347, 316, 316L, 321, and XM1, 18-9LW, 302HQ may be used to produce the astm f593 bolts. The ferritic class stainless steel F593 Stud Bolt consists of grades 430 and 430F. Whereas the martensitic class F593 Nuts consists of alloys like 410, 416, 416Se, and 431.
Finally, the precipitation Hardenemd ASTM F593 Screw is the alloy 630, or as also known as 17-4. Under this specification, the ASTM F593 Fasteners could be delivered either in an age hardened condition, hardened and tempered condition, or in a cold worked condition. Though the delivery conditions for the ASTM F593 Bolts need to correspond to the alloy being used in their production.
